Bloodshot

Bloodshot Records is an independent record label based in Chicago, Illinois. Since its founding in 1993 by Nan Warshaw, Rob Miller, and Eric Babcock, the label has been a pioneer in roots-infused indie rock, punk rock, and alternative country music.

Over the years, Bloodshot Records has gained recognition for its diverse roster of talented artists and their unique sound. The label saw some changes with Babcock's departure in 1997 and Warshaw's exit in 2019. However, it continued to thrive until briefly closing its doors in 2021.

Fortunately, on October 23rd, 2021, Bloodshot Records was acquired by a new owner and made a triumphant return to the music scene. After lying dormant for some time, the label announced exciting plans for upcoming releases. One such release is from *Layng Martine Jr.*, set to debut in May 2023.
