The aptly named Already! is the (very) long awaited first album from 90's post-rockers Bushpilot. The tracks on Already! have been lovingly re-edited and post-produced by studio legend Richard Formby (Ghostpoet, Wild Beasts, Darkstar, and a later member of Bushpilot), together with vocalist Ross Holloway. Bushpilot arrived at the avant-garde of the Leeds' punk and indie scene in 1993 with Holloway, Karl Berlin (Bass) and Daren Pickles (Guitar), formerly of epic noise architects Purple Eternal, playing alongside the more melodic Adrian Gans (Guitar) and bolstered by the power of Phil Leigh on drums (previously of Spectral Alice, now founder and owner of Norman Records). Bushpilot Already! (a slogan once daubed bright in blood red paint on a roadside wall in the Hyde Park area of Leeds) brings together the first two years of the bands' journey through a krautrock inspired, taut and rhythmic landscape influenced and shaped by Can, Jesus Lizard, Captain Beefheart, the Butthole Surfers, Talk Talk, Neu, Slint and Talking Heads.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/ab21a060-080d-4d91-987d-24e518b7d980_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1727752338
21st-century-breakdown-lost-girls
21st Century Breakdown / Lost Girls

God Unknown Records start a campaign of releasing the lost recordings of 90’s post-rockers Bushpilot in 2020. 21st Century Breakdown is journey through a krautrock inspired, taut and rhythmic landscape influenced and shaped by Can, Talk Talk, Neu, Slint and Talking Heads. The appearances led to interest from a major label in the USA, but as usual life got in the way. With a new drummer in the shape of Nick Tonge of Leeds heavy noise merchants Zoopisa Rockit man and Millennium Man took from improvisations developed working with legendary Leeds producer Richard Formby in his studio and turning them more into songs: Richard thinks of them as 'Frankenstein creations'. We think noise rock with heavy Can influence compressed into two 3 and half minutes blasts of furious joy. The video was created by award winning Leeds artist Sarah Doyle, who also created the cover artwork. The video stars British rocker Vince Taylor, a key unfluence on a young David Bowie, and a host of model spaceships.
