Over 12 warm, spacey tracks, Syd reappropriates the satin romanticism of classic Seventies soul for 21st-century girls who want to be with girls. She's got help from an impressive guest list of rising left-field stars: Janelle Monáe sends 'Gabby' spiraling into a mournful waltz, while Syd's Odd Future pal Tyler, the Creator kicks off the kind of block party that dreams are made of in 'Palace / Curse.' The best tracks fade away into gravity-defying instrumental outros that make Syd's heartache feel sublimely serene.

2LP - Double Vinyl Set with Download.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/86dc3910-f183-4249-9eba-6da82eff58a3_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1726526512
when-i-was-lost-i-found-myself
When I Was Lost, I Found Myself

Girls of the Internet’s Tom Kerridge releases the album When I Was Lost, I Found Myself on Classic Music Company, Luke Solomon’s revered imprint. That album’s fresh sound - funk-tinged beats, laced with slinky guitars, evocative keys, and heart-striking lyrics about relationships with women - earned it a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary album. With the dynamic, multi-dimensional offering, The Internet let the world know that they were not only insanely talented, but a true, five-person force whose singular talents created one phenomenal whole. With the chaos of the current world considered as well, all of The Internet wanted to champion good feelings and the joy of following your heart and passions, in addition to using their own positive relationships and experiences to inspire their community. In collectively working through the process, the crew unearthed an even deeper purpose as they collaborated on this record. The result is not just one of the greatest records in the band’s already phenomenal catalogue, but is easily one of the best albums of 2018, from five amazing people already leaving an indelible mark on pop music.

2LP - Double Vinyl with Download.

CD - Standard CD with 4 Page Booklet.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/f7968e4b-c2c6-41db-ad15-e5af47fc4c03_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1727731380
secular-music-vol-1
Secular Music Vol. 1

A reflection on how we hold each other and how we let go, Secular Music Vol 1 is the first installment in a triptych of albums by multi-limbed live dance music outfit Girls Of The Internet.
