Recorded live at the Roadburn Festival 2013

‘What a fucking blast. Seriously. That’s what it says in my notes: “What a fucking blast.” It’s a direct quote. Probably the best thing I can compare it to is when Black Pyramid played the Afterburner in 2011 and were given such a warm reception, but this was bigger, both in room size and in that reception itself. People were lined up out the door and down the alley to see Elder‘s Roadburn debut, and the crowd was cheering before they even started the first song. They waved and people cheered. It was a lot of fun to see, and as it was the 10th show on their 15-date European run with Pet the Preacher, they also handed the place its collective ass. Both cuts from the Spires Burn/Release EP were included, as well as “Dead Roots Stirring” and a host of others, and for the umpteenth time in the last couple days, I felt lucky to be there. I know for a lot of people, this was the first time they’re getting to see them live, but even for the several times I have, this one was something special.’ – The Obelisk

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/993336d1-d4ad-468d-80d0-25499786f3ae_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1727869486
live-at-roadburn
Live at Roadburn

Not meant for genre purists, Oranssi Pazuzu are on a trip all their own; modern electric pioneers on an expedition to unlock the keys to the hidden spaces all around and inside us, and here they are live at Roadburn 2017.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/7aee15e6-a590-4adf-8a44-82f7437b0055_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1727906936
live-at-roadburn-2011
Live At Roadburn 2011

First live album by Acid King. Mixed by Billy Anderson, mastered by Justin Weis. Art by Richard Schouten based on the original poster art from the 2011 show. A review from Paul Robertson at the time: ” As punters filtered into the venue, the smell of hashish washed over the crowd, and as a projection of Horror and Biker flicks was kicked into motion, the blistering opening riff of 2 Wheel Nation splintered through the crowd. As the cosmic riff grooved along, Lori S’ sultry and hypnotic vocals took hold, and soon the bands sheer presence and powerful sound became captivating.The bands lumbering, bluesy sound perfectly evoked the atmosphere of the festival and through many of their tracks, the bass rumbled through the jiving crowd. Through each planet destroying riff a multitude of scorching lights shone over the crowd, soon the room was a hot, sweaty vortex of sound. While the band played a wide range of songs from their numerous albums, it was great to hear Silent Circle, Electric Machine, Busse Woods and Sunshine and Sorrow in a live setting, the stunning sound system was incredibly immersive and complemented the music perfectly.”

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/60f6b753-2c7f-4cca-b43b-7a9f0fcbc09f_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1727928111
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/collections/test_757e7dd3_thumbnail_4096_b558de59-446e-4ec6-a01b-15985f313b08.jpg?v=1727869467
