Santana

American latin-rock group, formed in the late 1960s, led by guitarist Carlos Santana. They gained popularity after their iconic performance at Woodstock Festival in 1969. Their self-titled debut album, along with "Abraxas" and "Santana III," all released under Columbia Records, became huge hits.

With the release of "Caravanserai" in 1972, Santana embarked on a new musical journey towards a more experimental and jazz-oriented sound. Albums like "Welcome," "Borboletta," and the triple live album "Lotus" showcased their artistic evolution during this period.

Throughout the years, Santana underwent lineup changes and experimented with different musical styles while maintaining their Latin influence. In 1998, they achieved immense success with their album "Supernatural," winning eight Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammy Awards, including the No.1 hit single "Smooth."
