Their single \u003cem\u003eTeenage Bomb\u003c\/em\u003e captured that live energy and found support from record shops, radio and fans in the UK and beyond. \u003cstrong\u003eDave Dixon\u003c\/strong\u003e said they wanted songs built from raw emotion, not irony.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Needles\u003c\/strong\u003e split in 2007. \u003cstrong\u003eDave Dixon\u003c\/strong\u003e, \u003cstrong\u003ePaul Curtiss\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eJohnny Wolfe\u003c\/strong\u003e later formed \u003cstrong\u003eThe Hidden Masters\u003c\/strong\u003e with \u003cstrong\u003eNic Denholm\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eAlpha Mitchell\u003c\/strong\u003e, releasing \u003cem\u003eOf This And Other Worlds\u003c\/em\u003e.
