A modern disco record, 'Super Critical' was inspired by the duo's travels through New York and Berlin. It was written in Ibiza in an old hillside finca overlooking the sea, away from everything but the Ibizian club scene. After six months of solid writing the band accidentally befriended Duran Duran's Andy Taylor and an experiment turned into a studio lock in and as a result both Andy and Jules act as co-producers for 'Super Critical'. The album was mixed straight onto analogue tape in New York at the legendary Avatar Studios. It features the singles 'Wrong Club' and 'Do It Again'. The mood is knowing downtown disco, with choppy chic guitar riffs, the Tom Tom Club's deadpan cool and the crisp pop funk of pre stardom Prince.LP - The vinyl format is a limited edition picture disc (350 copies) with a handwritten / numbered sleeve and MP3 download code.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0867/1120/6219/files/b4bef39c-d972-443f-a4fa-7f75161258b3_thumbnail_4096.jpg?v=1727691796
home-1
Home

The Ting Tings are a UK Salford band who released their first catalogue of hits in 2008, leading to global success and an immediate 6-year world tour.
