They played 150 UK shows as headliners and support to acts including Balaam And The Angel, Wolfsbane, Fields Of The Nephilim, and Living Colour. After splitting in 1991 the band was asked to reform for a one-off show in Birmingham in September of 2019, and public reaction was so strong that Chapter 22 invited the band to re-join the label more than 30 years after their last release. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eNew Dawn Rising\u003c\/i\u003e features 11 brand new recordings of classic Dawn After Dark songs such as ‘Maximum Overdrive’, ‘Crystal High’ and ‘The Groove’, songs from the band’s live set that were never recorded, and new tunes. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVive Le Rock magazine editor Eugene Butcher sums \u003ci\u003eNew Dawn Rising\u003c\/i\u003e up best when he says; “Dawn After Dark have given us a huge slab of rock, full of big hooks and soaring guitars.
