During his time with the label he released two ground-breaking albums and a couple of EP’s that helped to move Drum n’Bass away from being viewed solely as a DJ-friendly genre produced exclusively for a club environment. By overlaying the style’s syncopated rhythms with rich and melodic multi-layered instrumentation, \u003cstrong\u003eFuture Loop Foundation’s\u003c\/strong\u003e releases helped to redefine Drum n’Bass as an album-friendly genre that could appeal to the home listener.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAs well as pioneering a new direction for Drum n’Bass as an album genre, \u003cstrong\u003eMark\u003c\/strong\u003e quickly established \u003cstrong\u003eFuture Loop Foundation\u003c\/strong\u003e as being one of the few Drum n’Bass acts that played live. He undertook numerous tours across the UK and Europe, capitalizing on the growing appetite for live performances amongst electronic music fans of the late 90’s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePost-Planet Dog, \u003cstrong\u003eMark\u003c\/strong\u003e went on to release a further six albums as \u003cstrong\u003eFuture Loop Foundation\u003c\/strong\u003e before reverting to his own name under which he’s carved out a successful career as a producer of downtempo electronica, releasing a string of albums up to the present date.
