Futurismo

Futurismo is a reissue label with a clear taste for the stranger edges of post-punk, punk, synth and underground pop. Its catalogue points to a label interested in context as much as cult status: alongside releases by Devo, Alan Vega, Christian Death, Severed Heads and Units, it has also issued scene-mapping compilations such as American Grave (Gothic Punk/Deathrock USA: 1978-1988) and Twisted Dream Machine - The Paisley Underground / California's Psychedelic Renaissance: 1982-1986.

That mix suggests a label drawn to overlooked histories, archival depth and music that still feels a bit out of step with the mainstream. Rather than sticking to one narrow lane, Futurismo connects early synth experiments, art-punk, deathrock and outsider pop through a consistent curatorial eye.
