Performed by Olly, he is also joined by bassist Brendan O’Boyle, and Dinosaur Pile-Up’s Michael Sheils on drums.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOlly explains, “\u003ci\u003eWasteland\u003c\/i\u003e is an album that I’d been wanting to write for some time now, and one that I'm really proud of personally. That we’ll never be too old to make positive changes. The self analysis aspect can be heard when I detail some of the things that I like 'Nevermind' (the album by Nirvana) and a glass of water, a cool breeze in the heart of summer”. This is saying, this is me, here I am, these are the things I like and I’m ok with that.
