David Fricke in \u003cem\u003eROLLING STONE\u003c\/em\u003e magazine writes that SCENIC's music \"suggests Ennio Morricone dune-surfing in Death Valley.\" Robert Levine in \u003cem\u003ehuH\u003c\/em\u003e magazine describes the album as \"a sweeping, swirling sound that's full of both darkness and wonder.\" Grant Alden in \u003cem\u003eRAYGUN\u003c\/em\u003e says \"Incident At Cima plays like futuristic chamber music.
