The album was a top thirty hit in the USA and saw the band in demand as a live attraction. Their second album, \u003cem\u003eWhatever Turns You On\u003c\/em\u003e, was recorded in the spring of 1973 and was released in June of that year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sessions for this time would be the last time that West, Bruce and Laing would work together, but news of the band’s break up was withheld until April 1974, immediately prior to the release of the powerful live album \u003cem\u003eLive n’ Kickin.\u003c\/em\u003e This live album was a rock tour de force. Featuring only four tracks, the record included an extensive cover version of The Rolling Stones’ ‘Play With Fire’, along with a version of the Cream classic ‘Politician' and the Jack Bruce live favourite ‘Powerhouse Sod’.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eOut into the Fields – The Albums 1972 - 1974\u003c\/em\u003e features all three albums recorded by West, Bruce and Laing, all newly remastered from the original master tapes.
