The rest of \u003cem\u003eBloodmoon: I\u003c\/em\u003e was recorded remotely, though you’d never know it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHarrowing and atmospheric, triumphant and melodious, \u003cem\u003eBloodmoon: I\u003c\/em\u003e is Converge as you’ve never heard them before. It’s Chelsea Wolfe and Ben Chisholm as you’ve never heard them before. It’s Steve Brodsky as you’ve almost never heard him before—after all, he was a member of Converge in the late ’90s and played bass on 1998’s \u003cem\u003eWhen Forever Comes Crashing\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAs Bannon points out, \u003cem\u003eBloodmoon: I\u003c\/em\u003e has been a long time coming—longer, even, than the 2016 shows would indicate.
