It adds some surprises too. The jazz coda to \"\u003cem\u003eThe Shrine \/ An Argument\u003c\/em\u003e\" shows off the Foxes's expansive ears; the faintly eastern lilt on songs such as \"\u003cem\u003eBedouin Dress\u003c\/em\u003e\" or \"\u003cem\u003eThe Plains \/ Bitter Dancer\u003c\/em\u003e\" keeps their template fresh.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTo the mesh of guitars and voices come zithers and Tibetan singing bowls, as well as something called a marxophone. \u003cstrong\u003eHelplessness Blues\u003c\/strong\u003e is born out of a fraught gestation period, touched by doubt, uncertainty, and the travails of growing older and finding your place.
