They then moved to a cabin on the Puget Sound for their second writing camp, surrounded by the chilly waters where time was dictated by the tides. According to Kempf, the band's sole purpose during this time was to write, eat, sleep, and breathe music.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis unique experience of traveling to different locations to write proved to be a pivotal moment for the band, leading to the creation of the songs that would make up \u003cem\u003ePoetry\u003c\/em\u003e. The album was finalized back in Chicago, where the band has called home for nearly a decade.
