It's only fitting that this track sounds lost amid an album far too wrapped in its own interior explorations to bother stating the obvious.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSure, you could say that \u003cem\u003eNYC Ghosts \u0026amp; Flowers\u003c\/em\u003e is the group's best record since \u003cem\u003eDaydream Nation\u003c\/em\u003e—what's a new \u003cstrong\u003eSonic Youth\u003c\/strong\u003e album without such an assessment?—but to do so would deprive them of their greatest achievement. No longer fashionable or influential, \u003cstrong\u003eSonic Youth\u003c\/strong\u003e persist in the strength of their own passions. They matter to themselves.
