It was also a major hit in Europe and Australia. Also a huge live attraction, \u003cstrong\u003eSky\u003c\/strong\u003e released their second album in April 1980. \"\u003cem\u003eSKY 2\u003c\/em\u003e\" was a fine achievement, featuring the hit single ‘Toccata’, and topped the UK album charts upon its release.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFor their third album, Steve Gray replaced \u003cstrong\u003eFrancis Monkman\u003c\/strong\u003e on keyboards, but the band continued their run of success as \u003cem\u003eSKY 3\u003c\/em\u003e reached the UK top ten upon its release in March 1981. The albums \"\u003cem\u003eSKY 4\u003c\/em\u003e\" and \"\u003cem\u003eCadmium\u003c\/em\u003e\" continued the run of best-selling albums, following which \u003cstrong\u003eJohn Williams\u003c\/strong\u003e departed the band in December 1983.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn March 1985, the album \"\u003cem\u003eThe Great Balloon Race\u003c\/em\u003e\" was recorded in Australia and the UK, becoming another hit album.
