Opening track \u003ci\u003eBaby Universal\u003c\/i\u003e is pure Bowie. He re-recorded this track in 1996 for his 1997 album \u003ci\u003eEarthling\u003c\/i\u003e, but the track was not released on the album. It was eventually released in 2020 on the Bowie EP \u003ci\u003eIs it Any Wonder?\u003c\/i\u003e. The first single \u003ci\u003eYou Belong in Rock n’ Roll\u003c\/i\u003e was released ahead of the album and peaked at No. 33 in the UK. The second single\u003ci\u003e Baby Universal\u003c\/i\u003e achieved success on the Modern Rock chart in the USA, where it reached No. 21, and the third and last single\u003ci\u003e One Shot \u003c\/i\u003ebecame an even bigger hit, reaching No. 3.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe album’s cover (which was censored for its original USA release!) was created by Edward Bell, who had previously worked with Bowie in making artwork for \u003ci\u003eScary Monsters\u003c\/i\u003e.
