Bow Wow Wow found early success with their Burundi-style drumming, pop melodies, surf instrumentals and Annabella Lwin’s screams, chants and girlish squeals. But their notoriety soared due to the controversy surrounding Lwin’s age, and the fact that she was featured naked on the band’s first LP in 1981.
