The eight songs scroll along the timeline of city life: ‘Ich liebe dich eventuell für immer’ (I might love you forever) gently leaps into the past, whilst ‘Navigator’ straddles the future. Whereas life in ‘Heartbreakerei’ still felt like a trial run, in ‘Feel zu spät’ it becomes a test of courage: still playful, but now with the bold realisation that every move counts. In ‘Feel zu spät’, Fuffifufzich lays their cards on the table musically. The hand hesitates, but the heart dares: the grand ballad. The crush, even if it’s so close to a crash. The touch, despite the risk of an electric shock. These are songs that lift you up in the darkness of the night, hold you briefly over the parapet, and then set you down again on the kitchen counter next to a beer. Who knows where time is leading us? No one.
