With Milton Garrison on guitar and Alfred Butler on bass, they created a unique style that blended post punk, funk, art, and death rock. Unlike the sludgy grunge sounds of the Northwest, Vexed stood out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThey made their debut in 1985 with the song \"Six Foot Hole\" on the compilation cassette \"Pyrrhic Victory: A Goal Attained At Too Great a Cost.\" This release featured other notable bands like Soundgarden and Skin Yard. Over the years, Vexed appeared on several compilations before releasing their own material.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1990, they released their first non-compilation EP called \"Maybe,\" which later became part of their LP \"The Good Fight.\" During this time, they also contributed to the famous C\/Z compilation \"Teriyaki Asthma\" with their song GWYM (Go West Young Man).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe band broke up but reformed in 1992 with drummer Buzz Crocker from Alcohol Funnycar.
