In past years, he has toured extensively with artists like Bonobo, Chet Faker and Mr Scruff.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIn 2020, Werkha released \u003ci\u003eThe Rigour\u003c\/i\u003e on First Word, and dropped \u003ci\u003eBeat Tapestry\u003c\/i\u003e in late 2021 on a limited cassette. \u003ci\u003eAll Werk Is Play\u003c\/i\u003e marks Werkha's first full-length solo project since his debut album \u003ci\u003eColours Of A Red Brick Raft\u003c\/i\u003e on Tru Thoughts in 2015, and sees this multi-talented musician produce a delightfully vibrant body of werk.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis album is predominantly a set of uptempo compositions from Werkha (real name Tom Leah), fusing analogue jazz-funk vibes with modern dance music sensibilities.
