It was perfect for adrenalin-charged youths and took uptempo soul to a new level; the records were heavily bootlegged. Like\u003ci\u003e I'm Gone\u003c\/i\u003e, the Four Sonics \u003ci\u003eTell Me You're Mine\u003c\/i\u003e and Al Gardner's \u003ci\u003eSweet Baby\u003c\/i\u003e creatively utilised tracks from the Pied Piper days. Billy Sha-Rae was a Pennsylvanian-based singer whose band, the Soul Congress, became the nucleus of the Just Productions musicans. Their song \u003ci\u003eDo It \u003c\/i\u003ewas a hit but the instrumental version by ex-Funk Brother Billy Griffith was even more powerful and is hugely popular in soul clubs nowadays.
