In addition to the country infuences, pub rock was musically a throwback to the 1960s, when the beat and R\u0026amp;B music wave created a vibrant nationwide live music club scene. Besides Brinsley Schwarz, bands like Dr. Feelgood, Kilburn \u0026amp; The Highrods, Joe Strummer's 101'ers, Starry Eyed And Laughing, Ace or Ducks Deluxe took the stages of pubs and clubs in the UK by storm.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn March 6, 1975, Brinsley Schwarz played a one-hour set for the Rockpalast in Studio\u003cbr\u003eL of the WDR in Cologne.
