Teaming up with ex-2 Tone label mates, Toby Lyons and Karl Shale (The Swinging Cats), they launched their single on legendary UK TV music show The Tube, with their debut single \"\u003cem\u003eThe Colour Field\u003c\/em\u003e\" in January 1984 and followed up later in ’84 with their second single \"\u003cem\u003eTake\u003c\/em\u003e\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTheir debut album followed in early 1985, which contained the hit single \"\u003cem\u003eThinking of You\u003c\/em\u003e\", as well as subsequent single \"\u003cem\u003eCastles In The Air\u003c\/em\u003e\". Later in the year they released a couple of non-album singles \"\u003cem\u003eI Can’t Get Enough of You Baby\u003c\/em\u003e\" and \"\u003cem\u003eThings could be Beautiful\u003c\/em\u003e\" (produced by longtime friend and producer Ian Broudie).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBy the time of their follow-up album, \u003cem\u003eDeception\u003c\/em\u003e in 1987 saw them drop to a duo.
