For a few years in the early 90s sepultura were on a par with Slayer and \u003ci\u003eArise\u003c\/i\u003e is their testament to that. This reissue features a newly remastered version of the original album along with 28 bonus tracks. Many of those have never been released, including an industrial remix of \u003ci\u003eDead Embryonic Cells, Meaningless Movements\u003c\/i\u003e from an August 1989 writing session, and a cover of Motorhead’s \u003ci\u003eOrgasmatron\u003c\/i\u003e. Previously unreleased highlights from the second disc include a version of \u003ci\u003eInfected Voice\u003c\/i\u003e from writing sessions that took place in March 1990, as well as basic tracks for \u003ci\u003eMurder, Altered State\u003c\/i\u003e and more.
