The album attracted much praise, especially the stunning five-part piece \"\u003cem\u003eHazard Profile\u003c\/em\u003e\". Following the release of \u003cem\u003eBundles\u003c\/em\u003e in March 1975, the band embarked on a busy touring schedule, but they soon faced the blow of Allan Holdsworth departing suddenly to join The New Tony Williams’ Lifetime.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eHoldsworth was replaced by John Etheridge, and \u003cstrong\u003eSoft Machine\u003c\/strong\u003e toured extensively for the remainder of 1975.
