As they gained momentum, they decided to call themselves Trídia, a reference to the musical language of three notes that make a chord, and the sisterhood of three individuals.

Following their signing to Verve Records/Mercury Records and the release of their covers EP, De Versions y Alma in 2025, Trídia release their debut album of original music.

Speaking on the origin of the album title, Exuvia, the band shares, “‘Exuvia’ is the skin an animal sheds during the molting process. It makes the completion of the developmental stage and growth into a new phase. It’s the name we chose for the album as it perfectly represents leaving one stage behind to start a new one.” This theme has also inspired the album artwork. The album was produced by Trídia with Didi Gutman and recorded primarily at Casa Talisio Studio in Madrid, Spain.
