Taylor was hot from the first days of the \u003cstrong\u003eRolling Stones\u003c\/strong\u003e, the band he formed with Mick Jagger and Keith Richard, but left because it was time to go to art school; May was a hooligan disguised as a fellow student; and the rest of the band just picked things up from there.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOther bands played R\u0026amp;B, of course... the \u003cstrong\u003eKinks\u003c\/strong\u003e, the \u003cstrong\u003eYardbirds\u003c\/strong\u003e, even the \u003cstrong\u003eBeatles\u003c\/strong\u003e tried their hand at it. But none of them played it like the \u003cstrong\u003ePretty Things\u003c\/strong\u003e.
