She was only 28 years old but had already made a name for herself in the musical scene, sharing the bill with such stars as Miles Davis, Art Blakey and Tito Puente, and being praised by \u003ci\u003eDown Beat\u003c\/i\u003ecritic Nat Hentoff.  The 1956 album presented here finds her swinging in the company of pianist \u003cstrong\u003eJimmy Jones\u003c\/strong\u003e(who also worked with Ella Fitzgerald, Chris Connor, and Helen Merrill), and \u003cstrong\u003emembers of the Count Basie orchestra\u003c\/strong\u003e.  \u003cstrong\u003eAllMusic\u003c\/strong\u003ereviewer \u003cstrong\u003eScott Yanow\u003c\/strong\u003e gave the album four out of five stars, stating that, \"Kenney was one of the most interesting jazz singers of the mid-'50s.
