Through various highs and lows, from forming in 1968, through the peak years of the 1970s and into the early 1980s, \u003cstrong\u003ePete\u003c\/strong\u003e eventually quit \u003cem\u003eUFO\u003c\/em\u003e in 1982, forming \u003cem\u003eWaysted\u003c\/em\u003e in 1983.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTeaming up with singer Fin Muir, \u003cem\u003eWaysted\u003c\/em\u003e was completed by Ronnie Kayfield on lead guitar, Frank Noon on drums, and \u003cstrong\u003ePete\u003c\/strong\u003e's former \u003cem\u003eUFO\u003c\/em\u003e band-mate, Paul Raymond, on rhythm guitar and keyboards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eWaysted\u003c\/em\u003e's well-received debut for Chrysalis Records, the self-explanatory \u003cem\u003eVices\u003c\/em\u003e kicks off with the stage favorite and the band’s calling card, \"\u003cem\u003eLove Loaded\u003c\/em\u003e\", followed by \"\u003cem\u003eWomen In Chains\u003c\/em\u003e\" and \"\u003cem\u003eSleazy\u003c\/em\u003e\". That debut here is expanded with six alternative versions.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eVices\u003c\/em\u003e was followed by a mini-album, the self-titled \u003cem\u003eWaysted\u003c\/em\u003e in 1984, featuring \"\u003cem\u003eWon’t Get Out Alive\u003c\/em\u003e\" and \"\u003cem\u003eThe Price You Pay\u003c\/em\u003e\". While on tour in 1984 supporting the mini-album, the band was captured on stage in Cardiff on \u003cem\u003eYou Won’t Get Out Alive\u003c\/em\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWith a set that includes covers of \u003cem\u003eUFO\u003c\/em\u003e’s ‘Only You Can Rock Me’ and ‘Too Hot To Handle’, as well as songs from their first two releases, \u003cem\u003eWaysted\u003c\/em\u003e now featured three former members of \u003cem\u003eUFO\u003c\/em\u003e, with Paul “Tonka” Chapman on lead guitar, and Andy Parker on drums.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt was the trio of Paul Chapman, \u003cstrong\u003ePete Way\u003c\/strong\u003e, and Fin, joined by Humble Pie’s Jerry Shirley on drums, that recorded \u003cem\u003eThe Good Bad And The Waysted\u003c\/em\u003e in 1985. As well as ‘Hang ’Em High’ and ‘Manuel’, the album features the original version of ‘Heaven Tonight’.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSealing a new deal with EMI’s Parlophone Records, \u003cem\u003eWaysted\u003c\/em\u003e released \u003cem\u003eSave Your Prayers\u003c\/em\u003e in 1986.
