ABKCO grew from Allen Klein’s company, founded in 1961, and remains closely tied to some of pop’s most contested and enduring catalogues. A US label and rights company, it is especially associated with releases by The Rolling Stones and Sam Cooke, and also controls the Cameo-Parkway catalogue Klein acquired in 1968.
