Acid Jazz

Acid Jazz began in the UK in 1987, founded by Eddie Piller and Gilles Peterson. More than a label name, it helped define a club-facing strain of jazz, funk and soul, while giving early space to acts including Jamiroquai, The Brand New Heavies and Corduroy. Its catalogue still reflects that groove-led outlook.
