Arista

Arista is a US label that was launched in November 1974 by Clive Davis, in partnership with Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. The label's parent company, Arista Records, Inc., was acquired by Bertelsmann AG in 1979 and co-owned by RCA from 1983 to 1987. Currently owned by Sony Music Entertainment, Arista has a rich history in the music industry.

In September 2011, Sony announced that Arista, along with its subsidiaries LaFace, Jive, and J Records, were absorbed by RCA Records. This move brought all of Arista's artists into the RCA family. However, on July 17, 2018, Arista revived under the Sony Music banner and became one of the four flagship labels under SME.

With a strong publishing arm known as Arista Music, this label continues to showcase talented artists and deliver exceptional music to fans worldwide.
