Belako

Belako is a Spanish post-punk / indie rock band from Mungia (Vizcaya) formed in 2011. With lyrics in English and Basque, they have gained recognition for their unique sound. Prior to any official releases, the band recorded two demos titled "Inuit Block" (2011) and "Winter" (2012). Comprised of Josu on guitar, keyboard, bass, and vocals; Lore on bass, keyboard, and vocals; Lander on drums and vocals; and Cris on vocals and keyboard.

Since their formation, Belako has captivated audiences with their energetic performances and thought-provoking lyrics. Their music seamlessly blends elements of post-punk and indie rock to create a distinct sound that sets them apart from other bands in the genre.

The band's dedication to creating meaningful music is evident in their bilingual approach to songwriting. By incorporating both English and Basque into their lyrics, Belako showcases their cultural roots while also appealing to a wider audience.
