Bud Powell

Bud Powell was an American jazz bop composer and pianist. Born on September 27, 1924 in Harlem, New York City, he became a prominent figure in the jazz scene. Sadly, he passed away at the age of 41 on July 31, 1966 due to pneumonia in New York City. Bud Powell was known for his exceptional talent on the piano and his contributions to the development of bebop music.
