Citizen

Formed by Midwestern high-school friends in 2009, Citizen broke through via Run For Cover with 2012’s Young States, then sharpened their emotionally charged, guitar-heavy sound on debut album Youth, recorded with Will Yip. Later records including Everybody Is Going to Heaven, Life In Your Glass World and Calling The Dogs show a band still restless within alternative rock.
