EABS

EABS is a septet that began as a tribute to musical icons such as Ahmad Jamal, Gil Scott-Heron, Jay Dee, and Pete Rock. The band started with improvising musicians who came together for sessions and eventually expanded to include talented individuals from different styles and genres. With an innovative approach to jazz influenced by hip-hop, EABS blends elements of soul, funk, hip-hop, and electro while exploring and experimenting with composition. Their goal is to breathe new life into jazz and bring back its former glory.
