Collection: EMI

EMI is one of British music’s defining record companies, with a history tied to some of the biggest names in pop and rock. The label’s catalogue reaches from Queen, Roxy Music and Paul McCartney to later artists including Beck, Jessie Ware, Loyle Carner and Olivia Dean.

That breadth is part of EMI’s story. Its name is also closely associated with Abbey Road Studios, placing it at the centre of decades of recording history. Rather than belonging to one scene or era, EMI has long worked at a scale where mainstream pop, singer-songwriter records and major rock catalogues can sit side by side.
