Foghat

Foghat formed in 1971 and built their name on a hard-rock sound with a strong feel for boogie and the road. Founded in the UK, the band are closely associated with the run of 1970s records that includes Energized and Fool For The City, albums that helped define their straightforward, riff-led approach.

Live work has always been central to the story. That comes through in titles like Live, Live In New Orleans 1973 and Live and Loud Across The USA, which point to a band made for the stage as much as the studio. Foghat have kept that identity intact across decades, with later releases such as Sonic Mojo showing a group still rooted in the same hard-driving style.
