Goldie brought jungle out of the shadows with Timeless, his 1995 debut and a defining record in drum and bass. Born in Walsall, he emerged first through graffiti and breakbeat culture, sharpened his production skills at Reinforced, and went on to found Metalheadz, a crucial home for the scene he helped shape.
