Hugh Cornwell

Hugh Cornwell is an English musician and songwriter, born on August 28, 1949 in Tufnell Park, North London. He is best known as the former lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of The Stranglers. In 1979, he embarked on a solo career while still with the group. Alongside his music career, Cornwell has also composed film soundtracks. He continues to tour and record new music.
