Collection: John Lee Hooker

John Lee Hooker forged one of blues’ most recognisable signatures: hypnotic boogie rhythms, terse guitar lines and a voice that could sound both intimate and commanding. Born in Tutwiler, Mississippi, he broke through with “Boogie Chillen’” and went on to cut defining songs including “Crawling King Snake”, “Dimples” and “Boom Boom”.
