Johnny Osbourne

Errol Osbourne, known as Johnny Osbourne, is a highly acclaimed reggae and dancehall singer from Kingston, Jamaica. Born in 1948 in Jones Town, he rose to fame during the late 1970s and mid-1980s. Osbourne attended the renowned Alpha Boys School in Kingston where he honed his skills in trumpet and chant.

Initially singing with The Wildcats, Osbourne embarked on a solo career after making his first recordings for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One. He released his debut album "Truths and Rights" in 1979, which became one of the standout releases of that era.
