Kevin Kenkel

Kevin Kenkel is a Brooklyn-based composer and performer whose music comprises elegiac compositions for analog synthesizers and sampler, filled with pathos, heady atmospheres of longing and loneliness, unanswered calls, and missed connections. The exploration and exploitation of developing technologies — especially chatbots and other AI-powered systems for communication — are of paramount interest in his work and performance. He has toured internationally with performance artist Christeene, and has collaborated with Grammy-nominated pianist Adam Tendler, Colin Self, Eve Essex, and Phong Tran as a drummer and synthesist.
