Mammal Hands is a trio consisting of saxophonist Jordan Smart, pianist Nick Smart, and drummer/percussionist Jesse Barrett. They have created a unique sound by blending electronic, contemporary classical, world, folk, and jazz music. Influenced by artists such as Pharoah Sanders, Steve Reich, and Sirishkumar Manji.
Their refreshing originality stems from their diverse range of influences. Mammal Hands draws inspiration from various genres including electronic music, contemporary classical compositions, world music, folk tunes and jazz melodies.
With saxophonist Jordan Smart leading the way on his instrument while pianist Nick Smart provides harmonious accompaniment and drummer/percussionist Jesse Barrett sets the rhythm; Mammal Hands' music resonates with audiences worldwide.
