Matador

Matador is the New York label behind key records by Pavement, Interpol, Cat Power and Queens of the Stone Age, with newer releases from Horsegirl, Snail Mail, Bar Italia and Water From Your Eyes. Its catalogue links American and UK indie rock to art-pop, noise and leftfield songcraft without losing its underground bearings.
