Melissa Auf der Maur

Montreal-born Canadian musician Melissa Auf der Maur emerged from alternative rock and has also turned her eye to writing and photography. The books Even the Good Girls Will Cry: My ’90s Rock Memoir and My ’90s Rock Photographs frame her work through lived experience, documenting a scene from the inside rather than at a distance.
