Millie Jackson

Mildred Virginia Jackson, born on July 15, 1944 in Thomson, GA (US), is an American R'n'B and soul singer-songwriter and former model. With a career spanning from the early 1960s, she has achieved great success with three albums certified gold by the RIAA for over 500,000 copies sold. Known for her unique vocal performances, Millie often incorporates long, humorous, and explicit spoken sections into her music to captivate audiences. Notably, she is also the mother of R'n'B singer Keisha Jackson.
